 KAMMI was started in April 2020 by the husband & wife team of Hazama Ahmad Azmi and Genervie Kam. Both of them renown people in the music industry, impacted by the Movement Control Order due to the corona virus outbreak, decided to venture into a totally different area… food.

With that, the journey started with Kam Asam Laksa, a totally home cooked, authentic halal Chinese Style Penang asam laksa. Starting a humble 7 packs a day, with the rave feedback & reviews, the orders increased to almost 300 packs a day within a month. The recipe was a generational traditional family secret recipe.
